Track lighting?

Before we moved into our apartment here, I called to see what kind of lights were here so I knew if I had to bring lamps. The lady at the leasing office told me our apartment had track lighting. I thought, perfect. Apparently, this is what they call track lighting. This is our only light in our living room/dining room.

On the website, one of their main selling points is the playground for kids. I'm sure we could kill hours on this bad boy.

And this is our only drawer in our bathroom. Huge.

Paige where are you right now? Sounds crazy but I did not know you were going somewhere for summer. We will be leaving for Hilton Head in a few weeks. Even though we have nice accomodations there I would not care if there was not a drawer in the bathroom just so we could be at the beach each day!

This really made me laugh. I hope it ends up being wonderful there. At least you have a good countertop.

I was really hoping to see a picture of your laundry mat. That bathroom drawer really does crack me up, I mean who do you think that you are needing drawers in the summer home bathroom?

I know you said that it was smaller, but I guess that when you get a smaller place they really take out a lot of things.

I think that your playscape is even smaller than the one that we have, and it is not even covered,so I guess that you won't really be outside on that one without breaking a sweat.

I miss apartments now more than ever.

Sounds like our first apartment in Chapel Hill. I kept on looking for the "balcony" out back. I finally determined it must be the thin slab of cement of the back door. Is there a point where it's just a lie?:)

I think that you live in a house of lies. I'm so sorry. Enjoy all that extra drawer space! You could have packed your entire home in that place!

Hilarious! I am so sorry Paige! Hopefully we'll be able to find a better playground tomorrow.

I am laughing out loud...I can so relate to you!

Are you complaining about your summer home? Some of us don't enjoy that luxury. We'd all love a second home to visit in the summer, especially in Dallas.

It looks like Megan has the better summer getaway cottage this year! It'll all be worth it eventually. Before you know it, you'll be picking out granite countertops some day.
