The bigger the better

Avery had pasta last night for dinner, and it's safe to say, she liked it. However, you can pretty much say that about any food. This girl can EAT!!

So, that's why when we took Tyson and Avery to the dr last week for their check ups (Ty for his 3 year and Avery for her 9 month), we we weren't surprised to learn we have giant children. Here's what we found out:

Avery is in the 95th% for height and weight (weighing in at a whopping 23 lbs 10oz!! and 30 inches long) and Tyson is off the charts in height and weight (weighing in at 41 pounds and is 41.5 inches tall)!! I was actually one proud mom. These kids have no chance of not being tall and I love it!!

And Avery took her first steps yesterday. She was after the animal cracker I was holding!!

That's so great! I'm telling you I'm surprised Anne Geddes hasn't swooped that little Avery up and put her in a giant flower costume. The roley-poley babies are the cutest. She took her first steps already? Holy cow! I love that she was trying to get an animal cracker. Hey, I'd walk for that too.

Wow!! Avery weighs more than Abby. Pretty sure our kids are all going to have a next to nothing chance of being tall we are on the total other end of percentiles.

I love it and totally agree. The bigger the better. Wow, I can't believe she is taking steps. Crazy!

*YAY* for Avery's first steps. How exciting! Her weight is cracking me up...Brooklyn is like 28 lbs so the race is on :) She is adorable. I say, chunky babies and solid kids is the way to go. You have some future athletes on your hands!

That is really funny. I love it. Well Gwen and Harrison could wear the same #3 size diapers, Poor Gwen she is only 21 pounds. Which is odd because she was really the chubs when she was immobile. I love the chubby ones. I am so proud of Avery wow only 9 months and all ready to walk around. Fun things are going to be going on at your home.

Wow, and I thought my kids were big (actually I think Luke was the same size at his 9 month)--definitely something to be proud of. That's amazing that Avery is already walking--what a go-getter!

Yeah! Our kids can be friends...Ava will need a boy that can handle her "big bones"!!

I am learning to embrace the size issue.

paige, you and i are pretty much in opposite situations. my kids are always barely on the charts and sometimes they're not even on it...it is a bit stressful...trying to fatten them up...so yay for you!! :)

When we took Reeslyn and Mallory in to the doctor they weighed the same and they are 2 years and 3 mo apart!!! Mallory has since past her sister up, did I mention they are over 2 years apart!

Maybe Tyson can be like the 6'10" U T basketball player we cheered for on Saturday night. I love tall people.
