fall fest

Ty's school had their fall fest last night. I wasn't sure how it was going to be and if it would be worth going - but it was totally worth going. The kids had such a blast and the weather could not have been more perfect! They got to do the bean bag toss,

ride ponies,

(avery had no idea what to do for the game but she was so excited to get to hold the stick horse)

go fishing,

(at every booth, Avery would stand behind Ty and put her arm on his back until it was her turn.)

throw the football through the hole - or throw the football like a girl through the hole,

get your nails painted - Avery's favorite part of the night - believe it or not - she chose pink for her nail color!

and throw a frisbee through Spongebob's eye, and so many more.
The kids are still enjoying the prizes they won and the candy they earned. It was a great night.

That looks like it was well worth the time with some fun booths. Your kids are so sweet to each other.

hahaha emma rode a stick horse for the first time at a friend's birthday party. she would just stick it in between her legs, let go, and then try to walk. it was hilarious! i'm glad avery is much more intelligent! :)

i'm thoroughly impressed that you noticed that my hair was parted on the other side. NO ONE in my family (except my 22-year-old brother...weird, huh) could figure it out, which is why i wanted to see if it was even that noticeable.

poor avery!! luckily emma hasn't had to take laxatives yet. i honestly agree with putting "potty trained" in quotes because i don't think a kid is potty trained til they are like 5 and can completely do absolutely every step by themselves (taking off clothes, wiping, washing hands, etc). let me know if anything improves with avery...i'll need all the help i can get! :)
