Instead of multiple posts about our break, I'll just do one giant one and even though I took tons of pictures, I'll try and post as few as possible. For Christmas this year, we stayed here, but we left the day after Christmas and met my family in Florida.
We stayed in a great house with a theater room. It was a huge hit among the kids...
and the boys.
All the grandkids.
We did go to Disneyworld one day. Despite the crowds and the sun, we did have a lot of fun.

At least we got to reconnect the past with the present!
We enjoyed lots of pool time each day.
Some enjoyed pool time outside of the pool.
We enjoyed some fun at the park.
Me and my brother and sisters.
We went to the beach.

Tyson celebrated a birthday while we were there so to celebrate we went to Sea World!
We rode rides, rides, and more rides.
Since Brent is in school, we had an extra long break so after Florida we flew up and spent some time in NYC with my parents. This is us at the Rockefellar tree.
Despite the cold, we were still able to see a couple of movies, hit the Shake Shack multiple times, go to Canal Street, see some standard NYC things, and go to the Museum of Natural History. This is how Avery looked the entire time at the museum. Tyson, however, loved it and ran from place to place. We had a great break this year. It was fun to spend so much time with family.

how fun. You had to extremes of weather. I can't believe how many grandchildren your parents have now.
I love the picture of Avery in the goggles, too cute! How fun, I'm jealous you guys got to do so much fun stuff. Glad you had a good, long break.

Welcome Back! I'm glad you had such a good time. And I LOVE the pic of Avery in the high chair with the goggles. Too cute.
It looks like a blast! Love the pic of Tyson in NY.
I LOVE DISNEY! And what better thing to do during Christmas break than swim! Got to love FL winters!
What a great break! I can see why Tyson doesn't want to be back...I wouldn't either!
I loved the pics of Patrick looked up!
2 of my favorite places to visit.! the pictures look great
That was one of the fastest month long wrap ups that I have ever seen. Very entertaining and funny. I think that your kids are so great, of course they would be they are yours.
Wow, what a Christmas break! I loved seeing pictures of all your family. It must have been a shock to your bodies going from nice Florida weather to cold NY weather. Happy Belated Birthday to Tyson! How is he liking sunbeams?
OK- your post nakes me tired. Congrats on surviving the holidays. Way to go! And I am totally jealous of all the fun things that you have done.
i think we should all have a destination Christmas!! There is really nothing better than going somewhere warm with family!! glad you had a great time!
Seriously, Avery gets cuter every time I see a picture of her! Such a darling little girl. Did you guys have fun? I've been meaning to e-mail you about your trip.
SO FUN! Glad you guys had a good time.
The goggle shot is my favorite. With the way the McKinnons eat it is probably best to wear protective gear.
that looks like one great vacation!
What a blast. You got some great pictures and I'm sure some really awesome memories. I think my most favorite picture of all is the one with Avery in the high chair with her swim goggles on. That's the best! You have a brother? Wow? He needs to make more appearances on your blog. I'm pretty sure I knew you had one, but I hardly ever hear about him or see him here. That house you all stayed in with all those chairs for the theater room is really a plus!
NY and Florida-FUN!! Loving Avery's gogles!
Great pictures. I think we'll vacation with the Jones' next Christmas... definitely more action than we had here at home.
